Administration is made up of three departments: Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technologies. Our customers are the employees of Beijer, so we sometimes call ourselves "Shared Services".
We are a tight-knit group with high engagement and high energy. We love to prank one another with our resident stuffed mouse and we exchange banter on the golf course regularly.
Whether we are troubleshooting computers, processing expense reports, or planning the next Health Fair, we are always smiling and laughing, you don't find frowny faces in Shared Services!

Time Off
Employees are given 13 holidays and a minimum of 17 paid days off per year to use at their discretion.
Beijer is also proud to offer 24 hours of Volunteer Time Off each year. And, our managers understand the delicate balance between work and home. Therefore, "when life happens" we offer the flexibility to telecommute even if you have a traditional desk job.

Just Some of Our Fun Stuff
Our SWAT, or Social Wellness & Activities Team, creates fun competitions and activities monthly. Meanwhile, you earn cool stuff along the way! You'll receive a $150 credit towards a fitness tracker of your choice when hired. We get together monthly for our Employee Recognition Luncheon and in October we bring in multiple vendors for our Health Fair.

Connecting
Events such as our annual Lagoon Day, Holiday Party, and Golf Tournaments are held so that we can get together and connect outside of the workplace. These events are encouraged, but completely voluntary and paid for by Beijer.
